Inspirational lighting design
Brilliant Lighting are award-winning lighting designers. We’re an independent, multi-disciplinary design team. We work collaboratively to create and deliver inspirational lighting schemes and lighting control for high end homes, hospitality, listed buildings & heritage projects and fine art collections. We have a passion for enhancing and transforming wonderful spaces with light.
Great lighting design is transformational
Light is often the single most important factor in a room yet it is frequently overlooked. Great lighting design alters perceptions of light and space, creating focal points and enhancing features, and creating moods or enabling tasks.
We’re lighting designers; it’s both an art and a science. It requires both creative flair and mastery of a varied, complex and continually evolving set of disciplines. Critically it’s also about really understanding each client and being able to help them transform their aspirations and dreams into reality.
It’s probably better to show what we can do than describe how we do it. The Projects section on this site is a selection of our work spanning a range of residential and commercial lighting design projects and centuries of architectural styles.
We design across a wide range of architectural styles and briefs
We work to a very wide range of design briefs. Read more about our approach to different lighting challenges and how we tailor our approach to different spaces and requirements. We have specific lighting design pages for a variety of different lighting challenges including kitchens, bathrooms, high ceilings, listed buildings and swimming pools along with sections for lighting in hospitality, restaurants and bars. We also provide a bespoke design service for lighting fine artwork.
