“Inspirational Lighting Design” – A new RIBA approved CPD seminar

Our new CPD Seminar “Inspirational Lighting Design – the Art, Science and Magic of light” has been assessed and approved by RIBA.    We are planning to start offering this residential lighting CPD seminar from September but we’ll be happy to deliver it sooner if anyone requests it.

The Seminar is a 45 minute session covering:

  • The psychology of light
  • The shifting lighting landscape
  • Lighting design
  • Light sources and characteristics
  • Lighting control systems

There is a high degree of focus on LED lighting.  Regulatory pressure and technical development has fundamentally changed the residential lighting landscape.  This seminar aims to show attendees how it’s possible to create magical, energy-efficient lighting schemes.

The seminar falls into the following core curriculum subject areas

Designing and building it:  design, construction, technology and engineering
Climate: Sustainable Architecture
