Brilliant light a unique art collection at Hever Castle

David Starkey looking at the only existing portrait of Arthur, Henry VIII's elder brother

We’re incredibly proud to be lighting a unique collection of artwork at Hever Castle. The exhibition charting the history of the Tudors though a unique collection of portraits is launched tomorrow and there’s a preview on ITN tonight. The collection of portraits brought together by Hever Castle is extraordinary. We feel remarkably privileged to have been involved.

The new permanent exhibition housed in the Long Gallery curated by renowned historian David Starkey charts the saga of the Tudors from the Wars of the Roses through to the Reformation. It’s a beautiful collection and we urge anyone with an interest in history or portraiture to come and see it. Update

We’re having the exhibition photographed but while we wait for the proofs it looks like Hever have beaten us to the punch. This post from Hever Castle gives a bit more background on the work the whole team have been doing behind the scenes. It looks great.
