Hello, I’m interested in installing 2 LD65 LED modules, and I would like the ability to dim these LEDs. What driver should I use ? Also, what transformer do you recommend – these would be run in the US (i.e, 120V main voltage). Please advise.
The LD65 fittings can be driven using the TXDEL 350/500/700 constant current drivers which are available through our web shop, and it is automatically offered as one of the suggested drivers on the… -
How long do the LED lamps last?
All the fittings and retrofit lamps we sell have a quoted life expectancy. Like fluorescent, the light output from an LED will decline over time. The dedicated LED fittings we use and sell have superb… -
Hi – I’m looking to install the Dino adjustable downlights in our kitchen (2700K, 43 degree beam angle). They will be on 2 circuits, one with 5 single Downlights and one with 3 single Downlights). I’d like to have a single driver for each circuit (mains dimmable). Could you please advise on the suitable driver?
Hi Chris and thanks for the question. The mains dimmable driver for the Dino is a 300mA Osram driver (they come supplied with the fitting, there’s no extra cost to the price you see… -
What are Max Lumens?
Lumens are a measure of light output. It’s important to understand how much light a fitting can deliver. When we talk about a product being a genuine 50w low-voltage Halogen downlight equivalent, we mean a… -
What do the Fitting Input numbers mean?
Some LED fittings have a choice of how ‘hard’ you run them, e.g. they can be run at 350mA, 500mA or 700mA. Essentially, the higher the mA the harder they are run, the more power… -
Would these be suitable to light a dining table from above, without shining harshly in people’s eyes at the table? They would be up high.
Thank you for the question and the additional details in the email. Ultimately if you are looking right in to a light fitting (any fitting) it will be glarey, but these particular spots are well ‘baffled’… -
What voltage input are the txdel700dali drivers
They take a mains voltage input. In the UK we supply 230v input drivers. Please have a look at The Lighting Buyer’s Technical Reference Guide for more details on DALI and DALI drivers.
