Lutron debuts intelligent light fittings at ISE 2026

The new Lutron Luxury app with a demo of the new Tunable White lighting system

Lutron launched a slew of new product intiatives at Integrated Systems Europe, extending the Palladiom range of window treatments with whisper-quite powered curtain tracks and extensions to their keypad offering. Most significatntly they introduced two ranges of intellient lighting with lighting control now embedded in the luminaire. It's a big step but it's a natural and welcome development.

The Intelligent Lighting System is made up of two ranges both of which integrate with Lutron's flagship HomeWorks lighting control system. Ketra is an import from the States. It's a full-spectrum lighting system wtih an exceptional colour tuning range and the ability to tune colour, temperature and output independently. Orluna CCX is the first tangible product from Lutron's purchase of Orluna in 2025. Orluna's tunable white range can now be specified with Lutron's CCX wireless driver. That means individually addressable and wirelessly controlled fittings capable of mirroring the colour of natural daylight throughout the day. The demos at the show were really striking and you can get a feel for what the offering can deliver in the Lutron Luxury App - see the link in the Related Pages section below.

There are still practical considerations around Circadian lighting. How do you handle it when not every fitting is capable of the same functionality? It will be interesting to see how Lutron look at extending the reach of the CCX system. It's going to be important to find a way to incorporate decorative lighting.

Aside from the Intelligent Lighting developments, there is a new dual Vierti keypad. Lutron's keypad offering is so good now with keypads suitable for a huge variety of architectural styles, ancient and modern.
