This stone-built home in South Yorkshire features striking architecture and a wonderfully rich blend of textures and materials. The lighting has been beautifully integrated with the architecture and interior design with some magical results.
Elegant and functional bathroom lighting
As with the rest of the house, the bathroom features rich textures and materials as well as beautiful detailing. The lighting had to be functional as well as bringing out the richness of the interior design. We used a diffused linear fitting to give the mirror a ‘halo’ effect. Mini downlighters in the mirror backed niches add a touch of magic.

To achieve this lighting effect it’s vital that all parties in the design and build are on board.
