The architecture is super, and the lighting brings it to life after dark. Externally, the lighting is very much focused on enhancing the warm and contrasting textures of the building, and leading your eye through to the front door. Wider garden lighting is subtle and low level.
Internally, the overall feel was contemporary and clean lined, with discrete architectural lighting focused on points of interest such as some wonderful ceramics, and the textures of the joinery etc. Decorative pendants and wall lights picked up the warm coppery tones of the wood.
It’s an uncomplicated design; the quality of the light itself is wonderful and it’s this that gives the space softness, warmth and depth.
Lutron lighting control enables the client to seamlessly move from one lighting scene to another, and also to integrate rooflight blinds.
