This project features the renovation of a bijoux Georgian terraced house and the complete re-build of the mews behind. It’s an interesting combination. In the principal rooms the Georgian elements were retained or re-instated and the lighting relatively traditional and low key. Contrasting with this the rebuilt mews, connecting gym/sauna, bathrooms and roof terrace are highly contemporary. Integration of the lighting with the architecture is key to the project’s success.
This project was shortlisted in the 2014 Build It Awards. a finalist in the prestigious Lighting Design Awards in 2015 and winner of Best Lighting Scheme in the CEDIA Awards in 2015.
